In honor of National Ice Cream Month, Quirk books announced six new flavors of Ben and Jerry's ice cream inspired by book titles:

New Cedar Cove TV series on Hallmark Channel

Debbie Macomber has been one of my favorite authors since the first issue of her Navy series for Silhouette Special Edition.  I was a fan of the Cedar Cove series of book from the very first one, 16 Lighthouse Road.

The premiere of Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove special two hour pilot will premiere tonight,  Saturday July 20th at 8pmon the Hallmark Channel, with one-hour episodes premiering every Saturday night at 8pm for the next ten weeks, culminating in a September 28th season finale.

I personally have only visited the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum in Hannibal, MO.

I would love to some day visit Green Gables, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada; the Mark Twain house in CT, Emily Dickinson Museum in MA, and Edith Wharton's home in MA.  The William Faulkner home looks like someplace I'd like to visit also.

Havana Lost

My friend and author, Libby Fischer Hellmann, has a new book coming out. Libby writes two crime fiction series with female main characters, one with PI and former cop Georgia Davis; the other with video producer and single mother Ellie Foreman. She also writes stand-alone thrillers, including Set the Night on Fire, A Bitter Veil. Libby's new book, Havana Lost, is coming out in September and it is also a stand-alone thriller.  Fans and reviewers were able to download an advance reading copy earlier this summer.  Check out Libby's website for an interview with her about Havana Lost.
